I was down in Atlanta, Georgia back in 1997. I was just there hanging out with my best buddy. He wanted to come to Atlanta for a big car show, so I went along with him. While we were there, we decided to scope out the city. We went all up and down Peachtree Street, road the Marta and checked out the local shopping centers. One shopping mall really caught our attention. I was basically loaded with all the high-end stores. We browsed through shops like Bernini, Versace, and Tiffany's. You can keep all of them as far as I'm concerned. I simply have no interest in paying that much hard-earned cash for clothing. Heck, I'd rather give it to charity. At least this way I know it's doing some legitimate good, and not supporting some hack designer. I was stunned at the $2000 price tag I saw on a pair of Versace jeans. Give me a break! And what makes these jeans worth so much cash? I certainly couldn't see anything special about them. However, I did notice the store clerk glaring at us as we passed through his shop. I'm sure this is typical in stores that sell designer clothing. In short, you can have Versace jeans, and all the other clothing these big-wigs make.
Want to know what Versace jeans look like? Hey, get on the
web and you'll soon find out. Check out all the designer
clothing you please online. I would, however, be careful what
you purchase. The truth is you never really know what cause
you're supporting. I hear Liz Claiborne gives a lot of her
earnings to some devil worship cause. Now is that weird, or
what?
